Life After Uni
We want to raise up people who pursue Jesus and justice wherever they go, consuming ethically, giving radically, and transforming entire industries. We want to see a deep mindset change that spills over into action.
As we begin to think about next steps - jobs, where we will live and new routines - pursuing justice as a graduate can be challenging after being part of a student group. So here are some internship ideas, career resources, short-term courses and opportunities, gap year ideas, and Network happenings, to help set you up well for a whole-life, life-long pursuit of justice.
Young Adult Mission Placement Scheme | The Methodist Church
A national programme of the Methodist Church offering paid, short-term mentored placements for young adults (18-30) to explore and gain experience in church and community settings. Partnering with Methodist churches and local projects, participants can co-design structured roles with clear learning aims, a supportive environment, and local engagement that has impact! You do not need to be a Methodist to apply - just be open to engaging with the ethos of justice, inclusion and creativity.
The Justice Practices Course
An eight-session course that will empower you into a fruitful, holistic and sustainable pursuit of justice in the way of Jesus, alongside others who are committed to seeing God’s kingdom of perfect peace and justice come to earth.
