What if every Christian student shared a passion for pursuing justice in the way of Jesus?

We exist to form our students with the character, values, theology and practices of disciples who are relentlessly pursuing justice in the way of Jesus.

To achieve this Just Love has developed university-based student groups in 15 cities across the UK. Those groups are spaces of incubation and formation - providing the conditions and community for young disciples that will set them up for a lifelong pursuit of justice.

The Just Love Apprenticeship is for students without a group in their city! This is a year that equips students to grow in faith, leadership, and practical action - preparing them to make a real difference in their community and beyond.

We run student training events at two key points in the year: Easter and Autumn. They are a vessel for the Just Love vision, focusing on theology, leadership - both being a healthy leader and developing other leaders - and how to tackle injustice.

    • Confident and grounded in the biblical story of justice

    • Convicted that their faith demands them to seek justice in all areas of their life

    • Beginning to make costly decisions to live justly

    •  Thoughtful about the complexities of justice issues and know which areas of their lives could leverage the greatest justice impact

    •  Embedded the spiritual practices and rhythms that sustain a life-long pursuit of God’s justice

    • Have a community of friends who will spur them on in the pursuit of justice

By the time they graduate, we want to see our students become:

Student Groups

Just Love student groups are communities of Christian students across the UK who are pursuing justice in the way of Jesus together. Our groups are run by students, for students. The groups campaign, fundraise, learn, pray and serve their neighbours together.

Just Love student groups are communities of fun, encouragement and challenge that enable students to take practical action on some of the big justice issues of our time, as well as deepening their love for Jesus and justice.

The practical action students undertake in their Just Love groups not only impacts the world around them, but forms them in their discipleship  – all in the context of community that’s with them and for them.

The Just Love Apprenticeship

We want to help students all over the UK live out justice in the way of Jesus, regardless of access to a local Just Love group.

The Just Love Apprenticeship is a year-long journey for Christian students who are passionate about justice and want to put that passion into practice - holistically, fruitfully and sustainably.

Over the course of a year, apprentices are inspired, supported and equipped to live out justice in the way of Jesus where they are - during their time at university.

The Apprenticeship Experience:

1-to-1 Coaching
Personal coaching at the start and end of each term to set and reflect on your Justice Practice goals and your journey of justice learning and action (around 4–6 sessions).

Training & Courses
Attending Justice-focused in person training events throughout the year and a monthly online leadership course with others pursuing Justice in the way of Jesus.

Resources & Community
Access to a Student Noticeboard and shared online drive to connect with other apprentices and share resources.

Regular Encouragement
Regular email updates with stories, resources, and opportunities to help you stay inspired and engaged.

We run national training events for Just Love student leaders across the UK. These events equip students with all they need to lead a holisitic, fruitful and sustained pursuit of justice, and provide space for committees to get to know one another and to connect with other Just Love groups.

Our Impact

Since Just Love began in 2013, Just Love students have run 7,657 events, with an aggregate attendance of 88,575 students. They’ve raised £215,456 for other charities and given 43,500 volunteer hours in their local communities.

And this is only the beginning of the impact that Just Love students are having. Through training leaders of integrity and compassion, and forming them in the values, theology and practices of self-giving love, we are setting students on a long-term trajectory of pursuing justice in the way of Jesus well beyond university. Beyond university, the Just Love Network provides a lifelong space of support and action in the work of justice - supporting graduates to continue pursuing justice for the long haul.
