We want to pursue justice in the way of Jesus, as individuals and as a collective. But how?

What does it actually look like to become people who do justice? How can we be people living a just life, fully yielded to the God who made us but also taking active responsibility for how we live in this broken world?

The Justice Practices Course invites you to engage with these questions through a deep dive into the six Justice Practices we gather around as the Just Love Network:

  • We aim to spend our time and skills doing work for the sake of others.

  • We aim to live lightly on the earth - using only what we need, extracting ourselves from oppressive supply chains, and working to shape just and restorative economies.

  • We aim to use the money that we have to enable huge transformation in the lives of others.

  • We aim to do relationships the Jesus way, crossing boundaries, creating space for others to thrive, and living lives of radical inclusion.

  • We aim to become political disciples who can transform unjust structures.

  • We aim to live from a life of prayer and invite our church communities to pursue justice in the way of Jesus.

We’ll consider together how we become people who do justice.

We’ll reflect prayerfully on our own hearts and lives.

And we’ll commit as a community to living our lives more justly.

Over 8 facilitated sessions, this Course explores the core theological foundations and the practical outworking of each Practice.

The Justice Practices Course provides:

  • Rich theological insight into the basis of each Practice

  • Protected, intentional time for reflection on where you’re currently at with pursuing justice in the way of Jesus

  • Extended paired and group discussion to foster collective learning and accountability

  • A clear guide into action in each Practice area

  • This course will empower you into a lived pursuit of justice in the way of Jesus that is fruitful, holistic and sustainable, alongside others who are committed to seeing God’s kingdom of perfect peace and justice come to earth.
