Access and

Welfare

We have attempted to make ‘Another World’ as accessible as possible. If you have any accessibility requirements that are not covered below or you would like to discuss further what we can do to make this event accessible to you, Tim or Hannah would be delighted to hear from you.

Venue Accessibility

St Dionis Church is fully wheelchair accessible in both buildings, and there are accessible toilets in both buildings. There is a lift in the CAS Halls, and the main sanctuary is all on the ground floor.

Unfortunately, the building does not have a hearing loop system. We will have the ability to alter the brightness of lighting for any visual impairments.

You can find out more details about St Dionis here.

Accessible Transport Options

Parsons Green tube station is the nearest station to the venue, although it does not have step-free access. Fulham Broadway is the nearest station to the venue which has lift access to platforms. At Fulham Broadway, manual boarding ramps are available if you speak to staff at the ticket barrier before you travel. The closest step-free station is Earls Court which is a 30 minute walk away from the JLET venue. The closest step-free stations on the District Line with accessible toilets accessed by RADAR key are Paddington and Wimbledon.

Welfare

There is full permission to step back or opt out throughout the event as you need to.

There will be a quiet room available throughout the event which will be clearly signposted. Feel free to make use of this space at any point during the event. If you’d prefer to take time away outside of the building, Parsons Green is right outside, and we’d also recommend popping to a nearby cafe if it’s raining or you’d prefer a quieter space.

Content warnings for each session are indicated on the programme and they will also be shared by the hosts prior to each session.

There will be breaks throughout the event, where hot drinks, water and snacks will be provided. You will be able to see the full programme in advance (coming soon) if you need to plan around these breaks.

If there is anything else we can do to ensure your wellbeing at Another World is Possible, please contact us
