Doing Justice Well: a weekend of connection and reflection in Dunbar.

Seeking justice is complicated, and it can often be exhausting and isolating. This retreat is a chance to step back, recharge and reconnect – to seek God’s heart anew together.

We will also explore some practical tools and frameworks to make a lasting impact on our world. Expect to leave this Retreat inspired, equipped and energised to do justice well, together.

This event is for anyone who is part of Just Love Network here in Scotland. We’d love to see you there!

About the Event

Encounter God & Connect with Each Other

Seeking justice is complicated, and it can often be exhausting and isolating. This retreat is a chance to step back, recharge and reconnect – to seek God’s heart anew together. We will have time to explore different spiritual practices in the mornings, have times of worship and prayer, and on Sunday morning we will join with a local 24-7 Prayer Church who meet weekly on the local beach and are devoted to taking action for their local community.

This retreat will be a relaxed, informal space with plenty of time for relationship and rest. As well as the exciting learning that we will do together we will have times of free time for fun, hopefully a campfire as well as plenty of friendship over all our meals.

Doing Justice Well:

We want the Just Love Network in Scotland to be a community of reflective practitioners, a community that is committed to Christ-like justice and takes action together. Crucially however, we want to be a community that 'does justice well' by continually seeking God, moving past our fears and learning how to create genuine, lasting change for those experiencing the worst of injustice and inequality.

At this retreat we will explore practical tools and frameworks to make a lasting impact on our world. Expect to leave this Retreat inspired, equipped and energised to do justice well, together.
