Get equipped to address injustice this General Election, in a workshop with Bella Cross from Christian Aid.
Join us to deepen your understanding of the British political system, hear about some of the big global issues at stake in this year's General Election, and learn how you can influence your representatives.
This is not a party-aligned space, and Christian Aid/Just Love will not be pushing a particular party or agenda. However, there will be an opportunity to hear about Christian Aid's overall General Election strategy and how you can be a part of it.
Drinks and snacks are provided. Doors open 2pm, the workshop will be from 2.30-4.30pm. We’ll head to a nearby pub afterward for a time to connect and socialise.
Key Information
This is a free event. If you'd like to make a donation to Christian Aid, you can do so online or at the event. Christian Aid suggest that donations go to their ongoing Middle East Crisis Appeal.
The space will be hosted by Bella Cross (Christian Aid) and the Just Love Oxford Hub. Bella is a Young Adults Campaigns Officer at Christian Aid.
The event is in central Oxford, near the train station. It is open to all Oxford Hub members, but also to any other young adult Christians in the area interested in faith and social justice. If this is your first time at a Just Love event, you're welcome.
