Politics Sphere
Support, action & networking for those in politics, government and advocacy.
For five years, the Just Love Politics Sphere has served as a support network for over 100 Just Love members working in and around politics and government, primarily in London.
We run monthly socials, quarterly networking events and workshops, and an annual retreat.
Over the year ahead, we've got an engaging programme lined up in London, and are hoping to get the ball rolling with Just Love Politics communities in Scotland, the North of England, and beyond.

2024 Priorities
In response to a recent poll, you told us that you'd like us to prioritise the following questions and topics as we enter 2024 (fill the poll out here if you've not had a chance yet):
Community Organising & Grassroots Campaigning
Spaces for networking and building relationships
Universal Basic Income: In-Depth For & Against
Localism/Decentralisation: Naive or Essential
Energy Democracy/The Just Transition
We'll kick off in early 2024 with a simple In Conversation event on Community Organising, hearing from Just Love Network members involved in various forms of grassroots facilitation and mobilisation.
In general, the vast majority of our content will be created and delivered by people in the network, for the network. Occasionally, we'll invite external speakers in as well, but our focus is on mutual learning and teaching within our network. We also do joint events with other Just Love Spheres and Projects now and then.

About Us
We're a mix of people working in and around Parliament, the Civil Service, constituency offices, advocacy organisations, think tanks, local government and beyond. We also welcome who are just interested in justice, faith, and politics, even if politics is not your primary place of work. We're open to people with various political viewpoints and backgrounds, and at different ages and stages in their engagement with faith and politics.
