Philip Powell works at Tearfund as Theology and Network Engagement Manager (UK) and is the Co-director of the Justice Conference. He has previously worked at the Cambridge-based Christian think tank Jubilee Centre with responsibilities for leadership development and training programmes. Born in India, Philip has lived in the UK for over 20 years and has spoken around the world on topics including biblical theology, post-colonialism and ecological justice. Philip has a Masters degree in International Relations and is passionate about connecting the Christian faith with the world of international politics and global justice issues. He lives in Cambridge with his Dutch wife Renate and their daughter Josephine.
